EPLAN Canada offers training to Seneca students
Seneca College officially opened the Centre for Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship on September 27th, 2019. The facility houses a large portion of Seneca’s advanced technology and automation equipment. Students enrolled in the Electromechanical Engineering Technology – Automation (EMA) advanced diploma program will have the opportunity to learn from the latest industrial equipment, and discipline specific software.
Seneca College officially opened the Centre for Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship on September 27th, 2019. The facility houses a large portion of Seneca’s advanced technology and automation equipment. Students enrolled in the Electromechanical Engineering Technology – Automation (EMA) advanced diploma program will have the opportunity to learn from the latest industrial equipment, and discipline specific software. Learning the basics of EPLAN will help a new generation of electrical designers and engineers familiarize themselves with tools designed to benefit companies that have embraced automation and the Industry 4.0 revolution. With a foundation in EPLAN, students will be prepared to effectively take on new challenges upon graduation.
Seneca will offer training on EPLAN’s engineering software. Students will learn to design schematics based on technical specifications, plan a bill of materials and build 2D and 3D schematics.
